Located at 1357 E. Gladstone Street, Glendora, inside the Glendora Marketplace Shopping Center near the AMC Theater. Our unique program teaches survival skills and stroke development classes in a fun environment. We have the area’s best instructors to ensure that everyone, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to become a safe and happy swimmer. From as young as 3 months through adult, you can trust British Swim School – Pomona Valley to teach your loved ones of all ages how to swim.

This location is ideally suited for families from Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, Claremont, Covina, Azusa, Pomona and surrounding areas.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER:
  • We are open year-round. The pool is indoors and heated to between 83-85 degrees.
  • Enrollment leads to an ongoing membership – we do not have sessions. Membership will be auto-renewed every month until cancelled.
  • We do not offer trial lessons. We have over 4 decades of experience and are confident you and/or your child will love our classes!
  • Start date: During enrollment you will select a day of the week and time for your class(es). This will be your weekly day/time until changed or cancelled. Your start date is the first lesson day after enrollment. After enrollment, you will receive a welcome email with additional details
  • All classes are 30 minutes long
  • Tuition: A monthly flat fee that is automatically charged via credit card or bank draft on the 25th of each month for the following month.
  • 1st tuition payment: When enrolling mid-month, the first payment is pro-rated for the number of lessons remaining in the month.
  • Annual membership fee: $29/family will be added to your first tuition payment upon enrollment.
  • Enrolling after the 20th of the month? You will also be charged for next month’s tuition.
  • Maximum class ratio for ALL classes is 4:1, except Tadpole and Stroke development classes which are 6:1
  • Waitlist: No charge but a credit card is required to hold your slot. We will email and text you when a waitlist opens, and we require a response within 24 hours. After that, the slot will be given to the next person on the list.

Fee Details

•Monthly fees are based on 4 lessons per month. If a month includes 5 lessons (1 lesson per week), the 5th lesson is free.

•Fees are paid monthly and are charged on the 25th of each month for the following month’s classes (for example, fees will be charged on June 25th for July classes). We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express as well bank drafts.

•Make-up classes are available for absences reported 24 hours in advance and can be used within 45 days of the absence. Beginning January 1, 2025, Special Abilities / Dolphin classes will not be eligible for make-up classes.

•Make-up credits are non-transferrable, do not hold any monetary value, and may not be used in place of tuition. Make-up classes may only be used while actively enrolled in classes.

•Enrollment in lessons is a membership that will be auto-renewed each month until cancelled.

•Membership cancellations must be made prior to the 20th of month for the following month (for example, to cancel July classes, notice must be given by prior to June 20th). Cancellations will take effect on the last date for which tuition has been paid. Late cancellations are subject to additional fees.
