Does Moffitt allow food and drinks? ›

Reserved for UC Berkeley students and faculty, Moffitt is food- and drink-friendly, serves students of all majors, and is open the longest hours. This library is wheelchair accessible.

The FSM Café in Moffitt Library offers soups, salads, and sandwiches made with local, sustainable, or organic ingredients when available.

All study rooms can be reserved up to two 2 hours in advance per UCB ID, and are due at :50 of the last hour of the reservation or one hour prior to library closing. The Main (Gardner) Stacks are open to those with a current UC ID, UC Berkeley Library Card, LBNL badge, or Stanford ID.

Return UC Berkeley Library materials to any circulation desk during open hours, or to the outdoor/after-hour book drops when libraries are closed. Library laptops and devices must be returned to the circulation desk of the library from which they were borrowed.

Magnolia Cafeteria - Located on the ground floor of the main hospital, it is open to patients, families, visitors and employees.

Drinks in closed containers and snacks are permitted in the library. Vending machines are available in the rest room alcove on the first floor of the library. Because food can attract insects we ask that you dispose of your wrappers and uneaten food in the library wastebaskets and clean up any spills that might occur.

Built 1970. Moffitt Library offers a 24 hour environment for individual and group study space, plus course reserves, a makerspace, campus classrooms, and convenient access to the research collections in the Gardner (MAIN) Stacks.

Food and beverages are permitted within library spaces provided the following guidelines are followed: Please recycle and dispose of trash as appropriate. Report any spills to library staff at an open service desk.

Blackwell Hall:

One of the newest (and therefore nicest) residence halls at Berkeley. This complex is one block from campus and features single and double rooms, with some floors being co-ed. Closest dining hall is probably Cafe 3, which is a block away.

The center is located on the USF campus adjacent to the medical school, and is devoted to cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
