TheBlacklistare major antagonists of EA Games' 2005 racing video game Need for Speed: Most Wanted. It is a list of 15 wanted street racers in RockportCity that are of high priority for capture by the Rockport Police Department (RPD), organized by the amount of bounty placed upon them.
Razor, the main antagonist and de factoleader, sits atop the Blacklist after sabotaging the player's BMW M3 GTR (E46) and using it to reach the #1 position in the prologue.As part of the game's Career Mode, the playerhas to defeat each driver on the list before they can challenge Razor and become the "Most Wanted" street racer.

Overview[]
Each member on the Blacklist has a certain strength in somerace events, such as circuit, sprint, speedtrap, drag, etc., including pursuit milestones.Because members are organized by the amount of bounty placed on them, the player must reach the minimum amount of bounty from winning races and beating milestones (e.g. damaging or destroying police vehicles, dodging roadblocks or spike strips, surviving a pursuit within a given amount of time, accumulating a target cost to state or bounty, etc.) in order to challenge a specific member.
After defeating a member, the playercan pick two out of six random reward markers, one of which contains a pink slip for the member's car. Then, the player will progress further up the list until they finally beat Razor and complete the career.

The following list ranks the "Most Wanted" racer at the top, which is Razor, while the bottommost is Sonny. Each member drives a unique car specific to them, which can be awarded to the player if they manage to obtain a pink slip via selecting a random reward marker. The player will advance to the top of the list for each racer they defeat, and they will automatically reacquire their BMW M3 GTR after beating Razor.

History[]
In the prologue of career mode, the player arrivesin Rockport, where theywere challenged by Ronald "Ronnie" McCrea, then Toru "Bull" Sato,to a race. Eventually, they get torace with Clarence "Razor" Callahan(who originally was #15 on the Blacklist), after a bet was made by Mia Townsend on whether Razor's Ford Mustang GT (S-197) was faster than the player's car, the BMW M3 GTR (E46). Unfortunately,the player'sridewould break down at the climax of the racebecause ofRazor's sabotage, which ended up with the playerlosing the race and their car to him, in addition tobeingarrested by Sergeant Crossof the RPD.
Some time went by,Miapickedthe player up from jail and informed them about Razor's scheme that helped him become number 1 on the Blacklist.She then provided the playera safehouse in order for them to store their new vehicles (dependent on player's choice). With a few more Blacklist racers defeated, they would have access tonew boroughs in Rockport, and Mia would provide more safehouses, car lots, and repair shops for the player. In addition, the player can engage in higher heat level pursuitfor acertain memberdefeated, which makes it useful for them to quickly increase their bounty and challenge the top racers.
In the epilogue, unwilling to accept his defeat, Razor rebuffed onhanding back the keys to the player's BMW and insisted they try to take the keys from him, with Ronnie, Bull, and a few other Blacklist racers witnessing the confrontation. In the nick of time, Mia intervened by snatching the keys and incapacitates Razor when he tried to retaliate, revealing herself as an undercover police officer for the RPD. Razor, along with the other 14Blacklist racers, were arrested, while Mia throws the keys tothe player and tells them to go. At that point, Cross ordered every unit for thechase, with the player's heat level at 6. Five minutes later, Mia calls the player andleads them to an old bridge in order to evade the cops, as a form of appreciation. Finally, having failed to capture them, Cross issueda national warrant for the player, ranking them the "Most Wanted".

Trivia[]
- Each Blacklist racer hails from one of the three boroughs of Rockport.
- Sonny, Taz, Vic, Izzy, Big Lou, and Baron are from Rosewood.
- Earl, Jewels, Kaze, Webster, JV, Ronnie, and Razor are from Camden Beach.
- Ming and Bull are from Downtown Rockport.
- Izzy, Jewels, and Kaze are the only female members on the Blacklist.
- Other than Razor and Ronnie, Vic and Earl are the only two Blacklist members to personally contact the player.
- Kaze and Bull are the only Blacklist members to be of Japanese descent and drive the same make of car (a Mercedes-Benz).
- Aside from Razor, Bull, and Ronnie, all of whom have spoken dialogue and screen-time, Izzy, Jewels, Kaze, and JV are one of the few Blacklist members to physically appear as well. However, JV is the only one heard speaking, in which he shouts "Cops! Cops!" when the Rockport Police approach the scene after Razor sabotaged and takes the player's car.
